As a parish we have a number of opportunities that take place under the banner of Sanctuary Kids. Each month we have after-school 'Lego Church' at three of our churches, 'Sundays at Four', an informal family service at 4pm at St Luke's, an all-age Community Choir, and weekly toddler groups at St Francis' and St Luke's. Children and families are a very important community in our parish. More details below.

We have two Church of England primary schools linked to The Parish of Four Saints; Moordown St John's School that is adjacent to the church and St. Luke’s in Winton. We lead worship on a regular basis at both schools. We also have important links with Queens Park Academies, Linwood School and St Martin's School. We also have local uniformed organisations with whom we have strong links.

We believe strongly that church is a place where children and  families can thrive and find meaningful community.

Sundays

On a Sunday, children and their parents and carers are welcome to join us for the 10am service. We welcome and value children and have dedicated areas where they can find toys and activities. At St John's & St Francis, often children will leave with the Sanctuary Kids leaders and spend some of the service in the choir vestry learning together with interactive sessions appropriate for them. Parents/carers are welcome to join in, or stay in the main service. Sometimes services are purposefully more inclusive for all ages and everyone stays together throughout the service.

LEGo church

Our Lego Church events are a fun chance for children and their adults to play with lots of Lego and learn a little more about the Christian faith with a bible story.

Lego Church runs from 3pm - 4.30pm, so families can come straight after school.

Cute Baby Boy

Little treasures

We have two weekly toddler groups in the parish. One on a Monday morning in term time at St Luke’s church in Winton from 10am to 11.30am. On a Thursday morning at St Francis, Little Treasures meets from 9am - 11am. Wonderfully friendly and relaxed groups where refreshments are served, there are toys a-plenty and we always end with a sing-song.
