PARISH LEADERSHIP TEAM ROLES

ADVANCE COMMITMENT LEADER

• Plan and direct a series of gatherings for parish leaders to make their commitment early
• Identify those who may have ability to commit at highest levels
• Implement strategies for individual visits to these highest committers

CAMPAIGN ADMINISTRATOR

• Works closely with Pastoral Team and office staff
• Scheduling arrangements for meetings
• Assigning phone calls and/or visits
• Coordinating campaign mailings as applicable
• Tabulate all reservations and acknowledging to appropriate leaders
• Collating materials for all campaign training meetings and activities
• Monitor involvement for each leader and team
• Assist those having difficulty enlisting people to be involved

CAMPAIGN CHAIR

• General leadership capacity for the campaign – can be couple or team of two
• Help moderate Leadership Team meetings
• Make public announcements related to campaign
• Represent Leadership Team in communications
• Represent campaign to all parish teams and ministries
• Serve as liaison between teams and consultant

CHILDREN/YOUTH LEADER

• Planning and implementing activities and learning opportunities
• Prepare teachers to teach stewardship lessons on giving
• Plan and arrange children’s activities
• Plan and arrange youth involvement activities

CONTACT LEADERS

• Responsible for making three separate phone calls to every parish household
• None of the calls involve asking for money or pledges

FOLLOW-UP LEADER

• Responsible for the maintenance of the campaign through three years (longer commitment)
• Create a three year calendar for follow-up
• Keep campaign visible and fresh through regular communication
• Develop and implement activities for new parishioners
• Work to keep stewardship emphasis before parishioners

INFORMATION LEADER

• Responsible for selecting and developing plan for dissemination of information to every household
• Assists with Listening Sessions, contact person for questions after Masses

PRAYER LEADER

• Develop a prayer support team

SPECIAL EVENT LEADER

• Responsible for all plans and arrangements related to the Special Event in conjunction with Commitment Weekend
